If this was a permanent trait, I can't see the kids being able to keep him.
The one really good thing that happened was that, when Ds went to bed, Frankie jumped up onto the bed, settled at his feet, and slept the night.
But, he was back to whining in the morning, and whining and howling when Ds got home from work.
Any good thoughts for the poor guy to settle in would be appreciated. I think that, other than that, they are a good match.
At least he ate this afternoon. He's not been eating, and lost part of the extra weight already, in the past week, week and a half.
So, maybe things are slowly changing in his mind?
