Plus this is a two-pronged problem involving not only treats and bones, but his Rubber balls as well.
It took a while, but eventually, I was able to train him to let me drop his treats either into his mouth, or, put them on his bed or rug.
I still have a problem with his balls. He doesn't always want to share. Plus he likes to tease and will drop his ball on the ground but hover over it in order to grab it before I can.
Of, course training my family members how to give him treats or play ball with him is very difficult, as they want to do it their way. I end up saying, "Told you so," I lot more than I should due to their stubbornness. Personally it serves them right if they get their hands nipped.
