If I am reading or watching dvds in my bedroom, Charlie will lay right where my feet are. Or - I have a bed big enough for him to have his own space - when he lays in his space - Does his 4 paws pushing me towards the edge of the bed count when he falls asleep?
If I get up Charlie moves on to where I had been sitting and I have learned to pretend to sit on him so that he growls but moves. Asking or telling him to move diesn't work.
Mussy has her own spots atop Chances cage or the cat tree..so no problems with her. Thank goodness.
But Soli wants to sleep on my pillows. Unfortunately, he is the worst year-round shedder of black fur. I have had to ban him from my bedroom. Plus he talks when I am on the phone so I go outside or shut myself in the library.
They have learned to ignore me at my desk working or on my pc. Unless it is meal time then Charlie is the time keeper and sits looking at me and says: Bark! Waits a moment. Bark! Waits. Bark! Etc. BARK! Get the picture?
But if I am on the phone all of them feel free to bark, meow, screech, grab at me so that I end up outside or in a room with a shut door.
When I hang up - so do they. Arrrgh!!!
I am not in control of my own home.
