I've watched Missy use the tree in the backyard to play hide and seek. She peeks around it whether with dh or Chelsea...she does play bow, but the peeking around the tree is something that I think takes trying to use strategy. Missy also has worked through ssolving problems...like when she first wanted up on the couch. She tried several different tactics and then discovered she could use the stepper to give her an up. Now, of course, she can just run and jump up. (We're having to use chairs and the ramp up o the couches now to keep them from jumping up or down until their stitches are healed. With her cone she has had to really strategize how to pick up toys and keep them!! LOL! But she stays with it until she solves it. Chelsea has been too miserable to do anything right now. Her stitches are really bothering her. I finally got an ace bandage and a gauze pad and loaded the gauze with neosporin and anti-itch spray with lidocaine because trying to spread it on or spray it on freaks her out. She's having a very had time.
