They are much bigger and so beautiful. Mom has simmed down a lot. I saw them less this summer, but they look healthy, so there was enough for them to eat.
They were in the middle of the road. It is good to see them. Charlie usually barks when he does, but they have a number of paths thet walk on so I don't always know it's them.
Yesterday, my new neighbors behind me, had a work crew out and they put up a two story garage or house, not sure which.
It was due to rain and they were using the site of the previous garage that had been torn down over the last month. I was out with Charlie at 6:30ish... and they were working like crazy. They already had the supports put in so were doing the roof.
Charlie & I were back out about 10 and they were already putting up the siding. Oh, its all aluminum: Roof and walls.
I had to go outside just about noon and it was just starting to rain. They were cheering at getting the outside done enough that they could apparently finish from the inside.
Later about 3 one guys was outside putting windows in. It seems there are two floors.
They finally left an hr or so later. No more banging, etc.
This not a small building. Its taller than the roof of their home. And wide enough for two cars with extra space.
I've not met them... tried but no response.
Oh well... I am just grateful the building is not back towards the fence. It fronts right on the road. Whew!
Also it isn't in the area where the dee r graze along their side of the back my fence. There is a woods down hill that starts at the edge of their property. It goes all the way down to the mailboxes on the main road.
Just the other day the deer were by the mailboxes when I went down. It's wonderful to be that close to them, even if most of them flee as soon as we appear. Although there are a few who stand their ground.
They are magnificent when they do. I have close ups of one such event. Amazing.
