It's The Little Things That Make Life Such A Big Deal!
So much better....
I worried about keeping the ace bandage on...worried it would keep from healing by preventing air to get to it and I didn't want to keep scaring her with the spray. I took the bandage off at least once per day for hours and let it breathe and then dosed a gauze pad with neosporin and the anti-itch spray and lidocaine before putting it back on her. I took it off last night and it looked good and she didn't go all twitchy again, so I left it off last night when they went to bed. I checked them both this morning when I got them up and they both look really, really good and Chelsea is running around without going nuts. I know the incisions itch while they are healing, but they are both doing so much better. Missy is a wild child even with the cone on. Chelsea is much more subdued, but she's acting like she feels so much better!!
