I began him on 1 a day, then went to 2 a day and he is now getting 2 in am and 2 in pm.
This is all for his dry skin and itching. When I forget to dose him he scratches more often. But until I tested that I wasn't sure. I am now.
Charlie has been less active over a shorter period of time then he has ever been. This began during the summer heat. I chalked it up to that. But now that it is cooler over all 30/40s to 50/70s. He has begun to chase his ball at all out speed for may two or three laps of the path. A lap is coming & going around the whole yard.
He used to play ball during every lap I went = 5 to 6 laps. This is a big cut back. Charlie turned 6 on Halloween but I don't think he is old.. for he is still very energetic all other times as usu
Is it possible that Benadryl has slowed him down this much?
He is perfectly normal and rambunctious otherwise.
Also, weirdly enough, he doesn't want to go inside when I have finished my laps. Lately I have to go get him and use my stern voice to have him move towards the front door.
Do I just have a stubborn dog or could it be the Benadryl?
I'm hoping for stubborn.
