Well, if you read about the cat food recall, you've guessed today's question!
What food/s are your cat/s eating these days?
For dry food, my cats are eating Taste of the Wild for some...which they've been eating for some time, and are doing very well on, and for Nefertiti Noelle, a special food for cats who need special food for skin problems and such. I don't have the bag right in front of me.
But, it's the first food that's helped her. She had developed sneezing, skin problems, etc. out of the blue. I changed her food flavor, then her brand, and nothing helped. Finally, out of desperation, I found a sensitive cat food, and tried it.
She's doing great. No more skin/fur issues, she's got good weight on her, minimal sneezing, and she's happy.
For wet food, they have been eating those small multipack pates by Sheba. I tried to get them pieces with gravy, but a couple of the cats decided to just lick off the gravy. I didn't want multiple foods, so about 2 years ago I tried the pate, and it worked for everyone.
I used to get the poultry varieties, but after Sluggo got sick off of something last month, I guess (?) I got desperate and got 1/2 of them in seafood. One side being salmon, which I know is irresistible to cats, and it worked. So now, 1/2 are poultry flavors, and 1/2 are seafood flavors. Sluggo is back to eating all of the varieties now.
So, we actually have 2 types/brands of dry food, and one brand of wet...of 2 types, which are 4 flavors total.
How about your kitty/s?
