The safest rice, they say, is California rice, as it's had less contamination from things like cotton production, coal, etc.
I know that Lundberg tests their rice.
Also, I've heard that soaking rice overnight before cooking removes some of the arsenic, as does cooking it in a lot of water, pasta-style.
This is not good for Celiacs. As you know, as a whole, we eat a lot of rice, plus our flours, pasta, etc. are rice/rice based. So, I'm trying to change that, but it's not been easy.
