Since anyone first lived here - burning everything in the same pile and when that became too large the started a new one.
My problem is that any decent rain washes the trash from my uphill neighbors yard - which has many old burn piles - into my yard. Our yards share a fence which makes no difference in the flow of rain.
I live down hill of her and so I get her trash. I know that my yard by the house though has road base on a large part - covers old burn piles from many years. Often trash in the form of plastic, glass and metal are where I can see them and dispose of them in my trash cans.
This is not the first time Charlie has cut one of his paw pads. I keep it clean but do not wrap it as he heals better without a bandage. He takes care of it himself.
One reason why I do not let Charlie lick me anywhere. I believe after talking to a number of rural vets, that it is not healthy to allow dogs to lick humans.
Anyway that's the latest on the critters here. Except, I 'm pretty sure Mussy "p'd" on the counter again. She hasn't for a while until the clock change. Critters want to eat at their same time. SIGH! I should stay on their clock.
Oh well... have a good day... and remember cats don't like the smell of lavender...and guess who forgot to rub some on the counter - MY BAD!! lol.
