I do need to make one correction. There are three national parks in Indiana.
George Rogers Nation Historic Site
Indiana Dunes National Park
Hoosier National Forest (about thirty miles from us)
Also, Abraham Lincoln lived here for 14 years (age 7 - 21). The Lincoln National Memorial is very close to us. It is part of the original 180 acres owned but his father. It is a great place to take field trips, and they used to have a play of Lincoln's life there every year. Who knows if they will get to do that again this year?
Holiday World theme park (formerly Santa Claus Land) is located in Santa Claus, IN. Iti is known nationally for its roller coaster and draws roller coaster enthusiasts every year. They actually have three of them,
I need to stop, but I just wanted to give everyone a little more info on this state that we now call home (for now).
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
