I seem to order a lot, since he gets certain baby items from them, such as diapers, wipes, and recently, a battery pack.
So, I see a lot of information on my orders page, and can follow what's been delivered. Generally, since Ds rarely gets to the post office during their open hours, we retrieve the items from a locker.
It's a newer thing here, where they leave keys in your box, and you go to a package locker and get your items.
Well, I was checking on some of the usual for the baby, and the message said delivered, but instead of saying that it was left in a package locker, it said:
Your package is ready for pickup at the carrier
So, I looked for further info, as that's a new message, and it said:
Held for pickup at carrier location
Delivery attempted May 2
Unfortunately, USPS couldn't complete your delivery and is holding it for you to pick up. We're very sorry for the inconvenience.
What does that mean? I don't get mail delivery, other than at the post office, and haven't for decades. Argh!
So, hopefully, Ds can get there to pick things up during regular hours.
I just don't 'get it.' It went to the post office, where it's supposed to go, and always does. But, because it couldn't 'be delivered,' they won't put it in the package locker, but are holding it in the back, so that someone has to go back and get it, and we have to be there to make that happen? Is it going to be like this from now on? :-( Okay, I'm done venting. *sigh*
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
