I hope that he likes the new food, and eats more of it's content, so that, while it's more expensive, the amount that he eats makes it not actually more, ounce per ounce.
Yes, you have to observe the wild birds to find their preferences. I know, the better the seed, the more expensive.
I hope that your cat food is in stock soon. I only bought the sensitive formula for 1 cat, but it was definitely more expensive than the food that the other cats were eating, which is saying something.
Darn it, about the treats!
Every penny counts... What's kind of interesting, is that I just used a $3. Not on pet food, on diapers, but interesting that it was for the same amount.
That sounds like a good plan for the cat food.
I just bought extra chicken food. I know that the babies will grow up and eat it, but more importantly, I'd really hate to have a flock of birds without food for them, and the chicken food has been running out at the feed store.
I bought double what I feed them for a month. If
I can do that each month for a while, I can cruise through the winter months if I have to, whether or not it's available, more expensive than it is now, etc.
And, if it remains available, at the same price that it is now, etc. then it's not a problem. It just means that I will get a break come spring, and not have to buy any for 1-? months. :-)
