Luckily I had taught him how to play, Hot,Cold. Also, he has popped his ball in 30 foot trees often enough he knows I need a Rake or other Yard tool to pop it out of the tree.
Well, today I had tossed him his ball while on the first half of a lap. As I reached the end and was on my way back when I realized Charlie wasn't around. Nor I could I see him.
Finally, after calling & calling I spied him in the back standing by a short 8 foot tree. I asked where his ball was. He kept looking up in the tree.
To be honest I didn't get that he was spotting the ball. When I did, holy moly. I was so impressed and proud of my Boy!!!!
I had to walk around the tree a few times till spying the ball. It was tucked into a bunch of leaves so even being orange the ball was hard to see.
Wow... he is sooooo smart my Charlie is. 8-)
