Soli has laid on the top of her crate since Boy told her goodbye.
As for me, I sat on the porch with her in my lap for the last two days hoping the fresh air and bird song would give her Spirit comfort.
This has been a very difficult time. Mussy was so brave and roamed amid horses with no fear. They never touched her. They would check her out as she sat atop the Correl posts smelling the smells of the horses and cattle and the world around her.
This last year she has had problems with her sense of place. I put her in the large dog crate for a number of months but I don't think she was happy at all.
Once I put her in her cat crate she finally seemed to find comfort. I knew she was fading away. But never stopped offering tiny bits of food and water.
She is now out back with Boy's Max & DiDi. I put her with Max as the Vultures had gotten into his grave. I will be able to tell Boy Max is still physically there.
Mussy will be happy there as she was friends with all the BAZARS including Ween & Charlie. I am sure she will be friends with DiDi and Max now that she is at the Bridge.
She and Soli are the last of my Minnesota kittys. Born on a horse and cattle ranch they made it to Tennessee and then back to Beaukiss, Texas near BOR. TO be on a horse ranch again. Then on to Dallas and finally here. My only regret is that she and the others could not roam free.
Funny how all my cats travel and Mussy, being blind, was an adventurer. So Goodbye my Brave little girl. I love you and miss you already.
Blue, take care of her for us.
