Dog-like critters could not have gotten them. It had to be a tree climber. I am thinking a bobcat, but it could be one of these tree climbing foxes, or maybe a raccoon?
Still, interesting tip to keep in mind, thank you.
That sounds familiar...no insulation, no drywall, etc. here. Brrr is right! I'm glad that you finally got things on a more even keel.
Yes, I have a list. Very important things, lists.
There are so many animals here that hens don't stand a chance if not inside a yard, with a cover. I found that out the hard way over 30 years ago.
So, while this is just a small run, it will do for the moment, until I can manage something better. It's tricky with space constraints, $ constraints, and having to wait for everyone, but it will work out.
I forgot to mention that I need to make a place for the turkey, too! I think the last dog run panels right next to the chickens.
That's interesting about mantis's. This one took a total of 3 flies from Dh's hand. Very cool.
Having chameleons is very cool, too. I wish that we had some here, but, we don't.
Leave it to cats...they aren't impressed by lizards!
It didn't look like that wasp, but I've still not identified it. I wish that I'd been able to get a photo of it. Perhaps more are about.
Oh! We had the windows open today, at the warm part of the afternoon, and the front door. We were watching birds, and saw a mountain bluebird! It was only the 2nd one here. The last one was in the early 90's. Nice sighting.
I'm going to post a coop update in a bit.
Have a great day! (P.S. A painter is coming today to look at the house, tell us when or if he can paint the house, and what he'd want to do it. Any good thoughts for it to be soon, and really, really affordable would be much appreciated.)
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
