How do your pets react to rain?
Do they mind the sound from in the house?
Do they mind going out in any rain, heavy rain, or not at all?
Once they are wet, do they enjoy being toweled off, or get impatient and prefer just to shake off on their own?
How about their feet?
Does your dog's fur dry with a quick toweling, or do they need a while to dry/blow drying?
Tilde has fur that can just towel off pretty easily, and she seems to enjoy it, feet and all.
She normally doesn't mind the sound of rain, or getting wet, though she did get startled once, when it first rained with her up her, and rained harder than I've ever heard before.
After a little consoling, she was fine, and has been fine since.
Uhura and Mamou generally choose, if in the house, to stay in when it rains hard. However, if the rain continues, or if they really want to go out for any reason, they will, no matter what the weather is.
When they come in after rains start, Uhura, who's often soaked, expects to be toweled off, and enjoys it, as long as it doesn't take too long if she's been out for a while - there are food dishes waiting, after all!
Mamou likes it a little when he comes in; he'd rather have the attention later sometimes, though. The funny thing is; he's rarely wet! He keeps to the house, under the overhang when it rains, so it's rarely needed when he first comes in.
As a side not, you can't touch his feet, wet or dry. If you do, you will be instantly reminded of his feral roots. Normally, I will handle paws if I need to, cat or dog, even if they don't like it, but I wouldn't handle his feet under any circumstances. He'd have to be wrapped and secured first.
How about there?
