Outside. It's long enough to wear in a pony tail or a small bun. My hair has always been very thin. It's like fine wire. Lol no body to it at all.

My bangs are lighter but my tail is dishwater blonde. Maybe a shade darker.

Often I coil it at the back of my head and use a small clip to hold it in place. Don't have much as I take after my dad who was bald.
