What people have never understood is that, with few exceptions, unless you are of Scandinavian decent, blonde hair doesn't come out blonde. If you look underneath the hair, or at the part, it's darker, to one degree or another.
Not so much as a baby/toddler, perhaps, but from then on, no matter how blonde you are, unless certain genetics, as I said.
When I was a kid, when I'd swim at homes which allowed me to use a braid, rather than a bathing cap, those braid strands would be more than one color. Because my hair was quite blonde from having been out in the summer, the underneath was darker than the rest.
Gotta' love genes, lol!
