Last night I was petting him and got scratch. When I checked the ring the tags had been on was open all the way and no tags.
I immediately began looking on the floor under the bed but realized that something strong must have gotten caught to unbend the ring.
I went and got out my ground magnet and ran it over the floors in the house. I still didn't find the tags.
It was late and dark so I only checked close to the front porch with the magnet. NADA.
This morning I used it but there are so many leaves and I haven't been able to think where he might has been in the yard to pull the ring lose.
Besides it was drizzling. We went inside and I pulled the loveset out and vacuum under and around it.
So I am trying to recreate where we were in the yard yesterday. It had to be inside that he pulled the ring open for it fell off pretty quick when I touched it. I hope.
SO I am pretty darned worried about him getting out. DANG IT!!!
On top of Charlie' disaster - Chance pulled a good one and wasted a whole dish of his seeds. Apparently he can turn the dishes to the side... well this morning he emptied a full dish on to the bottom of his cage. I hadn't changed the paper for a few days so I couldn't save any of the seeds. I will have to change the paper and toss the seeds out back.
The third animal thing was one of the squirrels burying food in my backyard. This is Spring but we have another cold front coming. It will be in the 30's for us. Hopefully no colder. The squirrels only bury food in the Fall. Like I said elsewhere... what do they know we don't?
I really hope there are no more upsets. Oh the 14K - I checked with the IRS... they don't have my info or it's not been processed yet from SS. This is not good. The last 6 months and what may be the next 3 months are really playing havoc with my budget.
Charlie's vet appointment is on April 7th. My second vac is on the 10th. No Well till May at least, and all the rest after that. LOLOL - what a mess.
Wish me luck finding Charlie's tags. It makes me so nervous that he might get out. Where he goes I go. No more letting him out along even with the gate locked and barred. Sheesh!
