I really feel for you with the dogs that were run over, especially Tasha which you witnessed.
We had brought McDuff here with us from L.A., and he'd been through a lot, but was a tough little pup. He was 19, I believe, when he sat across the road - also our property - on a little hill next to a small creek.
A jerk drove down the road, in front of our house, and purposely turned off the road, onto the hill, and hit him. The reason that I know that he did it on purpose, was because he had a neighbors young son (at the time, now grown with his own children.) in the truck, and he told him that he was going to do it. I have been angry since. Angry because he would do that to any animal, yeslet my special companion, and angry because, how dare he do that in front of a child?
As I've said in the past, I have looked for that truck since. Right afterwards, I looked every time a vehicle went down the road - for months. Now, I know that he must have a different vehicle.
The neighbor told him never to come around again. Maybe he hasn't.
There are terrible people in the world. Who would even do that for sport?
Btw, I like Cowkitty. Did she/he have spots?
Well, lots going on here. Everyone wants food, water, a walk, Ds called to talk about papers for tomorrows meeting, and also hinges for a problem door...wow, so much for a relaxing Sunday, lol!
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
