I was furious.
Yes, to have Tasha then Mint Julip intentionally run down. ARRRGH! When they saw me running after he in the rearview he sped up. Everytime I saw him in is truck with the hunting dogs in the back... I took after he.
Eventually he took another road. A,,,,,e!!!
Jerk is not strong enough. Brutal killers suits more.
Sundays are not relaxing. Lol.
My new neighbor & I talk often over the fence. I keep giving him info: well care, well guys, electric guys, stuff about the house he needs to know that I know no one told him.
I gave him a good fossil and told him to keep an eye to the ground and how to spot them.
Also no paper in the septic. Plus local vets, and Drs. He sucks up the info then asks me the next week to repeat it.
The x owner put up a large 24 hr a day flag. But no night light. It has to be lit if 24/7.
Plus it was hung wrong. The Field of Stars must be in the North. So he fixed that.
We talk dogs, taxes, and so much more. Being from CA. We have lots in common. He is 45yo. Boy is 55 in Feb I will be 75 in Dec.
He tells his folks the advice I give him and says I'm like a 2nd Mom. His Mother approves. Lolol. He & Boy & Ddil met and we all talked for a couple of hours.
I was impressed with the knowledge I could pass on to him. Nov 2nd will be 5th year anniversary. Halloween Charlie will be 8yo.
Finn isn't year yet and does bark. Charlie has gone totally silent.
His Arch Enemy was the dog his owner thinks was poisoned. Charlie still looks for him and his scent. Finn appears to be an interesting addition to the neighborhood as far as Charlie is concerned. That he stands by the fence while A & I talk and Finn barks a bit.
This sharing info sure takes me back to when I moved here. BOR had public water & Sewage. I had to get use to personal customs etc.
I still miss the ranch.
I am up to 130lbs. Yeah! Filling out old lady flab lolol.
I made a house warming gift for A... it goes with a saying I heard a long time ago... "When living Rural, remember to bring the outside in."
Living in a city it doesn't apply. Lolol.
I grabbed some lovely tall red & green reeds, 2 yellow stalks with lovely slender leaves, a branch of Old Man's Beards, grasses and other wild growth, in a jar along with rocks on the bottom, a length of pretty vine, a good sized fossil, a knot off a tree, 2 Dove feathers and a flower s talk minus flowers from my Red Tip bush.
Its tall and in an old jif peanut butter jar. Clean no label. Lol
Plus yesterday I gave him a Heart of Texas Fossil. I have lots.
He is loving the area. And we both reminisce about S.CA. Its nice that he is only here a day or two. His parents will be coming up in Oct. He laughs, for the info and suggestions I give him, his parents already thought of, or they laugh that I gave him suggestions they had on their lists.
Since Boy & Ddil will live here I am so glad they get along. It's nice to have someone who is so excited with living here.
I refuse to list all my problem chores! They keep piling up. I think the well tank can be ordered & delivered. The installation the kids will cover. I will have Boy talk to my well guy. Maybe by end of Oct... all that will be done. Fingers crossed.
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
