I'm finding that cats who like to play with toys can sometimes take time off as they get older, but then, when in the mood, will play. Uhura has become more like that. Then again, when she played more, she was an only cat with Ds.
I predict that as Henry gets older, she will want to play with his toys. We'll see.
Those sound similar to the cat toys that I've got. Only, I've got a juvenile delinquent who wants them, so they are in constant danger of annihilation, when they make it into the German shepherd jaws of hades. :-)
Boxes and baskets have always been a favorite here, too!
I love the American Indian baskets as you describe. My aunt had some beautiful antique ones, which she donated to the Yurok tribe. I think that they may be in a museum now, but before that, I grew up with them on a display table with other items of the type in her house. Big memories of them.
I can understand you not wanting to stress the well right now. I can't wait to be able to do laundry again. Enjoy yours, you waited long enough for it! :-)
