Is your pet a 'morning person' or is he/she the most active in the afternoon or evening, or even at or after dinner time?
I know that our schedule is not always the best, but I don't think that we are the reason that Krypto is not as much of a late morning or afternoon pup. He's good early, and later.
Since we haven't had him that long, we'll have to see how he is in the cooler weather, because he doesn't love heat, and I think that's at least part of why he's less active at those times of day.
The only time of day that he will watch you, but not necessarily get up and be underfoot, is later morning, or afternoon...unless someone drives up the driveway, or there's a strange noise. He takes power naps at those times.
He will chase a ball at any time, but with less enthusiasm in the afternoon than at night. We play ball at night so that he's tired for bedtime. (That's one positive of an unfinished house with an opening between the living room and kitchen....a ball playing alley for the dog!)
How about your dog?
