Hello all! I have not been on the board for ages but,as I was walking my dog in the rain, I suddenly felt an urge to reach out. I should read a bunch of posts and catch up with everybody. But a quick glance shows me that some of the oldies but goldies are still around.

I cannot recall when or why I got out of the habit of reading and posting. I imagine life just got the better of me somehow. But I have always felt the love and support that this board has. I hope all have managed through the pandemic well. I am in Canada and we had some stumbles along the way and still our facing waves. But, by and large, we are doing okay. I am retired from work so it didn't affect me as much as many folks. Plus I'm a bit of an introvert so a life of walking my dog and not much else... That worked fine for me.

I don't know if I was on the board when I got my latest pup. I am a Labrador retriever girl and this latest continues the trend. My last two both past just shy of age 14. This fellow is 6 and 1/2 now. He is a lovely mellow guy who, we believe, has the soul of a middle-aged British civil servant. Quite serious and no nonsense but every now and then a twinkle comes in his eye and we get some good play time.
