I'm assuming that this is the Alfred who was born on 6-10 in 2015? I'm glad to hear that he's well, also, and such a good companion.
It's about the same here with the pandemic. We mostly stay home, except for some unavoidable health appts., because we do have health issues that our Dr. feels makes it best that we keep away from as many people as possible.
Since you have been here, we've lost a couple of dogs...Jet the dachshund, Tango the standard poodle, and Tilde...who I don't think that you knew.
Currently, we have mostly ex-feral cats that we've taken in over the year. 2 now sleep with us.
They are Mamou (Big Mamou.) and Uhura...both technically seniors now, Tux who is middle aged, and we have 2 Kitty Kampers left, who we rescued in 2010, and they weren't young then.
But, just when you think that they are all older for a while, a kitten found us.
It's almost impossible how he got up here. He was trying to climb in a bucket of water, and was about 5 weeks old. Thin, hardly weaned, and all black with big, round eyes. We bribed him in, and named him Henry. That happened 10 weeks ago, to the day, so he's 3 3/4 months old now.
When we lost Tilde, suddenly and unexpectedly, we realized that we needed a dog here (we were evacuated due to fires in Sept. 2020, and when we returned, came up to occupy a house we'd been building.), and kept out eyes open.
By the end of July, we brought home an 11 week old German Shepherd mix puppy - though he doesn't look mixed - from the pound. He and his siblings needed homes, we needed a dog...
Now, he's 6 months old, actually only 2 weeks younger than Gwen's Aragorn, and his name is Krypto.
As he's getting his adult coat in, he's looking a lot like the 1950's/1960's version of Rin Tin Tin and Rusty. His coat is red with a black saddle, muzzle, etc.
Aside from our hens, that catches you up on our current critters.
I see that there's another post from you, so I'll go and read that next.
Thank you for posting, we love hearing from you, and hope that you'll come back much more often. We love hearing from you. I, personally, love how you put things when you post.
Love All Life, Thank You For Posting! :)
