It's The Little Things That Make Life Such A Big Deal!
It's scary how they're able to tell time
My dog is pretty mellow about when he goes out for his bedtime pee. He's usually fast asleep in his crate and I have to nudge him to get him out. But his inner clock is a rigid task master with regard to supper time. For some reason, as a retiree living in a pandemic, my own supper became earlier and earlier. I now understand those early bird specials for senior citizens. There have been times when I've had dinner completed by 4:00 p.m. The bad news is that I feed the dog when I eat so his own internal clock has been set and now he starts staring at me at about 3:30 and doesn't stop until the food bowl hits the ground. And he has got an amazing solid stare. Right into my soul!
