I agree with that, about getting through this. I haven't laughed so much in years, as I have since we got him.
He's German Shepherd large. He was at the adult size for the average GSD when he was 4-5 months old!
From afar, he looks like a normal-sized GSD, because he's standing next to Dh, who is tall. But, when he gets close to you, you can see that he's larger than he looks from across the room. Or, when he takes the entire loveseat.
He reminds me of somewhere between most GSD's that I've known, (I did know one who was quite tall, come to think of it.) and our local Santa's wolf-dog, who's larger than that.
I wish that they would have told me what he's mixed with, at the pound. I think that they must have known. I'm tempted to call and see if anyone remembers, though they are not the most cooperative people. They are the pound, and not so much dog people, in general.
Sometimes, funny that you should mention it, his face does have a great dane look, but only at odd moments and from certain angles. I just can't imagine what he's actually mixed with. I am 100% positive that one parent was pure GSD, and one could have been a GSD mix? He and his siblings look so shepherd-like.
That's true about spelling! First the children when they were small, now the dog, lol!
Last night, Uhura decided to do a 'drive by' smacking of Mamou. They have never really gotten along, but at least tolerate one another in the house these days.
Both cats want to sleep on my legs, and Uhura has been very annoyed that Mamou takes that spot pretty often lately.
So, she walked by the front of my chair, and jumped as she went by, somehow managing to smack Mamou on the way.
I discourage Krypto from getting involved in cat business, but this time he jumped up and blocked Uhura from coming back through.
She finally went around the back of my chair, because he can't get to her there, and laid down on her 'princess bed.'
I thought that it was interesting that he felt that he should prevent her from repeating her little attack, and did it by simply blocking her path.
Thank you again!
