12 Cedars & 2 Junipers is all I have in my yard. Plus Oaks of course.

But to smell Douglas fir.... that would be wonderful.Yes, Dogs & Christmas trees don't always mix. Been there done that with 5 dogs, LOL.

We used to go out and get a tree from our pasture. During the first few years at BOR that is. Now I have a fake tree that I don't put up unless DD is here.

Instead I celebrate the Solstice - today in fact... at 9:59 am CST. My neighbors invited me to go to their son's home on Christmas, but I will have a number of calls with DD (CA) and youngest DGD (TN). Plus DS & DDIL will be flying to the Philippines that day. I hate when they fly there.... and back.

And will be having quiet time with my pack of critters.

A, from next door is flying to Central CA, today I think, vacation till Jan 2, 2022. I asked him to bring me some beach sand if he gets a chance. I do miss the Beach Cities and the beaches.
