There have been a few Cedar Fever allergy alerts but nothing serious so far. Considering I had only one serious bout of cedar fever in the five years (Nov 2nd 2016 Move in date) I have lived here... I'm doing pretty good. But that year the cedar pollen was amazing. Clouds of pollen everywhere. So if that happens only occasionally, they are great trees.
I have the two Junipers outside my Library window, which doesn't open. So far no pollen from them.
They do provide shade over the library window. Which next to the road.
But, as you said... trees are NOT the same everywhere. I have 4 types of Oaks, at least. 8-)
