...out a couple of nights ago, heading down into the 20's (brrr!), and Krypto needed a constitutional.

Okay, no problem. He tends to keep it brief when it's colder out. Not always...there may be deer or foxes about, or water to drink. But, usually.

So he went out with Dh, and put his tongue on a piece of sheet metal. Yep, it stuck!

He managed to get it free before Dh needed to help him by using his teeth, etc. And, that's not funny at all, but since nothing bad came of it, I did think about the water pump in the movie A Christmas Story!

When I was growing up, a boy that we grew up with - a neighbor for many years, managed something similar, which was quite a feat in L.A. But, he opened our freezer and stuck his tongue to an ice cube tray. (metal then, of course.)

I said that we grew up with him, and that he was a neighbor, I did *not* say that he was the sharpest knife in the drawer! We stuck his head in the kitchen sink and ran tap water over his tongue and the ice cube tray. That worked.

Sheesh!
