I think that I've narrowed it to 3 species, maybe.
The little ones are cute as a button, but they sure don't look like adults yet.
Well, they didn't. Now, a couple of them seem to be getting in some more colored feathers, so are becoming a little easier to identify.
I am positive that we have either Allen's or Rufous' because of the brown/orange on them. I'm leaning toward Allen's, but we'll see. They can be here year-round.
I am also positive that we have a Black-Chinned. They are not here year-round.
And, I'm fairly certain that we have Anna's, which are here year-round.
Again, after everyone has molted, and grown up, we'll know for sure.
Do you guys know which hummingbirds that you have where you are?
