I let Charlie run in am when high humidity & temps that are 80s/90s overnight....depending on heat & humidity levels I keep him on leash as we walk for a potty break.
He wants to run. But I keep him inside most of the time. Especially with high humidity.
My bedroom is coolest in house... usually 80s when 100s hit. Today will be HOTTER, yesterday was 105 on porch. 90's inside.
Charlie & I take naps I make sure fresh cool water is available for Chance, Cats & Charlie.
I also have a floor fan aimed at my bed and wipe Charlie's face & body down with water. Having black fur doesn't help him or Soli... kitty is gray and now is sleeping on dining room table where I have a fan aimed.
Today the AC in Dds bedroom will be running plus my bedrooms ac with temps for both ACs set in upper 70s. Plus all my fans will be running.
I need to move Chances cage. He has fresh water all day. But needs more circulating air.
They say tomorrow will be better. At least I don't live I SA. Its worse there.
