We went to the zoo a lot, took our kids to the zoo...well heck, ended up working at a zoo, lol! 
My dad's favorite animal was an elephant. My nephew was the only one with him when he passed away. Because they were so close, after my dad was gone, my nephew got a tattoo of an elephant to honor him.
