Even though I had decided to think good thoughts, like him having been found by the people that raised him, other case scenarios still slipped in periodically, and they weren't good. He's just not a feral cat, and doesn't have as many survival skills as the feral cats do.

I asked Dh what we were going to do about him coming in when he's ready, and we've decided to let him in the office door when he's ready for that step, because the office is isolated from Krypto by the baby gate. He's not ready to play with Krypto, I'm sure, and I don't want him put off from coming in.

In the meantime, I have little cat houses for under the overhang, on the outdoor kitchen. Hopefully, he'll use one of those. Even Mamou, who comes in whenever he wants to, and sleeps with me, likes to duck in one for a nap sometimes.

He's definitely a character!
