...I never wanted him to be an only dog. He was raised with dogs, but barely any humans. If ever there was a dog who should have canine companionship, he's it.

But, Dh pretty much resisted strongly all this time. That's why I was so surprised when he made the suggestion on his own. I was floored, really.

So, we'll see how it goes. It can take a while to find just the right dog. Especially these days with the cats, a 2 year old, chickens, and a silly giant pup.

Will you go for misc. red and white flowers, or look for something like poinsettias?
