Do you have plans for your dogs/cats for Christmas?

I am going to stay pretty boring, and stick with what has worked. A new antler, which he loves, and which I already have put away, and a new nubby ball.

The nubby balls last forever, but they do lose their ability to squeak, and eventually become less than round. He got one last Christmas, and he loves to play with it. It's his fetching ball, and when he wants to play, he will bring it over and push it against your leg.

What will be new this year, is that I want him to go along to get our Christmas tree. Thyri is going also, the last that I heard, so there will be plenty going on to make it a fun day - hour - for him.

The cats will get small cat toys, which I also still have, and treats.

I am considering giving Dandy one of the cat beds for his own, in the office. It's one that the others don't use, and I think that he would like it.

Day before yesterday, he came up to Dh and stood up on his leg when he was looking for food. We can't touch him yet, but he's settling in nicely, and seems to have decided to become part of the family.
