And yes, I feel so much better that his passing was peaceful.

I had thought about taking him to the vet, once they opened, but am glad that we didn't. He slipped into a deep sleep (coma?) not long after he had the seizure, and didn't come out of it.

I feel as if crating, driving, the vet's office with other people there, bright lights, etc. would have been stressful for him, when his 'sleep' was lighter.
