I clean out plastic jars - such as peanut butter ones. I make sure they are totally clean so that when I get a new bag of any size, I use the PNB jar to scoop the food out and pour into the larger
containers. The only time I spill bird food is when I am not watching what I am doing. LOLOL! I can make a real mess. Then Charlie or the cats or even Chance get extra food.

But it's worth it because I recycle PNB or BIRD FOOD Jugs or pint or quart or gallon jugs for any other items I need to secure safely or to make spill proof. Yes I am really obsessed.

I store all pet foods, Wild Bird seed 20# bag, Dog food 17#'s, etc, etc. in the jugs. I also use a PNB jar as a scoop. I don't make it into one I just shove it into the food and turn it around and wa la its full. Easier to pour from ajar.

Oh do label in case someone else needs to feed for you. All Charlie's & Chances foods as well as the cats food and treats are put in jugs that suit the amount in the bags.

Oh and the jugs are see through so no having to search for something.
