Charlie will eat anything I give him. I am very careful. He no longer gets large biscuits. Instead I only give him a few of the smallest over a day. 1 to 3 mini biscuits off and on after meals, or Darford pumpkin biscuits alternating with mini biscuits.

1 teaspoon peanut butter on top of a few tiny training treats in his kong after he has been out in the AM. So while I am going for the mail but before his fruit with Chance and half a dental chew.

Plus 1 lg Dental chew broken in half for am&pm after he eats breakfast & dinner. His teeth are pearly white. Only the very back molars have plaque.

I do give the cats treats and they each have their own preference.

I let Charlie has some cheese ocassionaly and 1 small teaspoon of creamy peanut butter. Popcorn once in a blue moon. No salt no butter. I have cut way back on both our portions.

Chance gets lots of veggies and some spaghetti strands. Charlie loves carrots & apple junks.

Ocassionally a small piece of beef or chicken but he mostly has canned dog food for evening.. small portions. That is when he gets the 2nd half of his dental chew.

All the critters let me know when I am late for any meal or have forgotten any snack. They are always on time. Unbelievable!
