We talked about muddy/wet feet not long ago, but how do you deal with your dogs' fur when it rains or snows?
Does your dog's fur hold water well, or not really?
Also, does your dog ever bare his or her teeth?
I once had a little terrier mix who would bare them when you asked to see her teeth. But, by and large, no. I do not believe that I've ever seen Krypto bare his teeth. Though, when he lies on his back sometimes his lips move away from them. That's what Dh calls his 'Cheesy puppy smile.'
His fur can really hold water, but, his guard hairs keep him drier than he used to get before he had his adult coat.
Speaking of the junior wolf, he decided that there's no reason to stand out in a deluge when one doesn't need to. We are having heavy, heavy rains, hearkening back to the weeks from before Christmas on, with flooding again. So, he does what he needs to, and back in they come!
How about your pups?
