Recently he has been letting me rub his head and eyes and ears after years of not allowing me.
I am in shock right now and my heart hurts.

Tomorrow I will bury him in my Pet Cemetary. He was a lovely bird and I have had him since he was six weeks old and still eating gruel.

He has gone through many phases but he has been a member of my family since the mid seventies. He recently began calling and taking to me in new ways and was singing with the radio.

If I was late feeding him his breakfast, treats or dinner, he let me know right away.

He has always been alot of work but I have taken care of him since 1975 give a year or two. A man I was living with bought him and when we broke up he left Chance to me.

Chance has lived in many areas of Southern and Central California, ten years in Minnesota, Tennessee, as well as Austin, Texas on BOR where he adored looking out the huge windows that looked out on a herd of cattle. Lastly he lived in Dallas and was now enjoying watching all the birds and squirrels out my large window inthe front room.

Prayers please that he is in Bird Heaven and flying freely. God Bless his tiny soul.
