It's cast iron and very awkard and heavy. I had to move it out of the house for it hurt to much to have it empty.

It is outside getting rained on. I will have to scrub it down on a sunny day. Then I will move it to the front porch and use it to hang small herb plants, etc. inside and outside on the frame. Maybe some Ivy or something trailing.

The sun can't reach the northeast corner of my front porch so I won't have to worry about plants dying from the heat.

I just couldn't stand the thought of giving his cage away. It was a relief to think of having small potted herbs & stuff in it.

I rearranged the front room, but everytime I walk and look at where his cage used to be I get upset. It's so hard to not check that area.. as I would walk over and uncover his cage, feed and give him treats and then rub his head as often as I could.
I will miss him for a long time.
