We had a good night in one way, and not-so-good in another.
Hira didn't cause us any trouble. At all. That was both the good and bad news.
She was put off of Dh's chair when he began dozing off, but climbed back on when he fell asleep. Krypto found a small corner to get on with them, but there really wasn't enough room, and for the first time since we have had him, he couldn't sleep on the chair/bed. He finally went into his crate.
The problem was that she was just abnormally quiet. As of today, she's a tiny bit more active, but still hasn't eaten anything, drunk anything, nor emptied her bladder. She seems a little wobbly, and I'm concerned.
Ds went to town to pick up the 3 chicks, and I had him look for her usual food, which, apparently, is Pedigree. Safeway didn't have it, so I got some special type of Purina. Hopefully, it will make her want to eat. At this point, I don't care what she eats, as long as she does. If she eats, she might drink. She *has* to drink.
She's still not made any sounds, except to rumble at Krypto. He's being really good now, by the way. He sniffs at her, but that's about it. As of last night, he'd begun making a berth around her when he walked by. He looked a little concerned.
So now, we need to get her to eat, drink, and use the restroom. I will know when she does, since she doesn't go outside alone.
Uhura won't come in right now, but so far, Hira hasn't so much as sniffed at a cat, or anything much. But, I don't think that it's a good idea for a cat who's not concerned about dogs in the house, such as Uhura, to walk up and sniff her out of curiosity. Hira is not feeling well, and could snap at her.
Any thoughts or prayers for Hira to be healthy and eat/drink soon would be appreciated.
I'll be back soon. By the way, the chicks are cute, and will go to Ds's house for a couple of weeks. I've told Ds that I'm naming the Salmon Faverolle, but that Thyri may name the two Brown Leghorns. It should be interesting to hear their names.
