...those things. *Looking around for Thyri* We aren't supposed to say 'hate' around her. The problem is, she's still too young to differentiate between hating a person, and hating, say, when computers freeze. Thank you, I appreciate the vote of confidence. Yes, a little extra money wouldn't hurt any of us! I'm pretty sure that some of these hummers will keep going, too. A man in Crescent City spotted and took a photo of a Calliope. They are normally at something like 4,000'. I hope that Charlie's joints can be easily maintained, if that's the problem. By floor type, do you mean a stand alone unit that sits where you put it, or something else? I guess that it's better than being hot, but I'm sorry that yours is wearing out. Guess what Hira (we've given ourselves 2 days to get a new name. We're now calling her the girl, and him the boy. It needs to be figured out.) did a little while ago? Krypto went for a real walk, and she and I were alone. I was eating some chicken and little carrot pieces from broth that we made a couple of days ago. I know that she watches what Krypto does, and he has to sit at the door, to be fed, etc. So, I broke a carrot piece into pea sized pieces, and put my hand up, then said 'Sit.' I show one flat palm for sit, both for 'No more, all gone.' She looked at me for a moment, then tentatively sat down! I gave her the little carrot bit. We did it 3 times, then when Dh got back in I showed him. He was messing with me, and said that he dared me to do it again, lol! By then she'd gained her confidence, and did it like a pro. But, I wasn't done. I looked at the 2 dogs standing side by side, said their names and 'Sit.' They both sat in tandem! He couldn't believe that I'd gotten her to do that. Now, she might already have known it, and just hadn't felt well enough to do it previously, but it gave her the idea of training. Though, I taught Krypto to lie down in an evening, so it's possible that she didn't know it. Either way, she was stoked. She got praise, and some carrot, for just sitting, lol! Well, it's late...again. I'm going to see about getting to bed. After being wormed Hira brought up some of her food, and will need to go out, so I expect to be awakened at some point. Night! |
