...the goldfish thing. People say that their memories are what, 4 seconds long? Maybe 4 minutes? Something like that. Yet, I taught my goldfish to come to the top of the water when I snapped my fingers, and they knew that once every 24 hrs.

But, more importantly, when I 'fish sat' for a friend's fish, which was only now and then, he remembered, too.

So, I'm sometimes skeptical about memory length studies.
