Today he is barking more and was running yesterday afternoon after hearing Flinn. But this morning he is full out racing. What the heck????
He always barks if I take too long getting dressed and prepping the bird & Squirrel food. And again this morning - it was in the mid 40s and cool - he was barking and he did his usual spot check of his favorite places which literally included all four corners of the property.
I am begining to wonder if perhaps heat sometimes bothers him, or the humidity?
Anyway, he was jumping on my bed without my asking. Now he is napping on my bed after having his kong with a tiny portion of training treats and a really small bit of peanug butter. He later had half of a very small gala apple - free of pits. Then he gets 3 really tiny Darford bicuits and 1 small dog biscit I break in half. He goes to sleep on my bed, or the floor, while I fix my breakfast. If I have a hard boiled egg when I have breakfast he gets a sliver of white and I get the rest. As I am fixing an omlet no egg this morning.
He is looking better and his chest is not bloated etc but he is not exercising so he is not his slim self through the hips. I have cut back on quantity of what he gets.
He is staring out my bedroom window at A's house but can also see the street and the driveway of the house there. He is a very nosey dog.
I will make a list of all the signs I have seen him portray that I worry about. Plus his menus. I know he is older and has filled out but the bloating and grass eating worried me. That will also go on my symptoms list.
Ok I am hungry and will cook my omlet and my chicen tenderloins this morning in prep for dinner. Hopefully I will make blueberry muffins for wed.
I keep forgetting as this in now payweek. But I have a jump ahead on my budget. YEAH!
