Some dogs do have a stronger odor than others, but I've never known a dog with no odor whatsoever. How interesting. Krypto has a light dog odor, but when he gets wet, his fur can make him smell like the wet dog that he is. I'm still not sure on Hira. She came here smelling pretty awful, but we've given her wet rag baths since the beginning, wormed her, and changed her food. Now she smells pretty nice, but we haven't had her long enough to know what her natural odor will be like. Food does play a big role in scent, but also type of dog, type of fur, whether double or single coated, etc. |
