I have a friend whose daughter was in my class in 2nd and 3rd grade ... the mom rescues grown cats and the daughter has the kittens. Kara and I went over to see a black and white (Randy wants a tuxedo cat) kitten, Silent Bob. We were swarmed by 30 kittens...so affectionate and friendly!! They've been raised by hand and they are so so sweet! They unabashedly climb on your lap and relax...and chew on my nails!! LOL! She has a separate room for kitties who are sick and being "doctored" and she has a separate space where she has two kittens who were just born when she found them in a dumpster...cords still attached! I got to feed them. 
One is orange!!!
She also has a german shepherd and two rescue pitties.
Kassidy, my past student for 2 years, is attending school for vet tech!! It was so good to see her and to get mobbed by kitties!!
