...blame you, poor thing. :-( The few times that I have had to get fleas off of an animal, I've used an immediate working medication, like Capstar. This is the cat version; there are probably generics, too. https://www.amazon.com/CAPSTAR-Treatment-Tablets-Killing-Minutes/dp/B07Q1TKTP9/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?crid=10R1A85DYMJ8&keywords=flea&qid=1687966039&rdc=1&s=pet-supplies&sprefix=flea%2Cpets%2C1048&sr=1-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1 I've used them to completely rid the animal of fleas, then did what was needed to prevent anymore. Vacuuming, bath, flea prevention meds, etc. Whatever was applicable at the time. Sometimes it was a dog, and sometimes a cat. Ds just found 4 fleas on Frankie over a week ago, and he wanted me to find him a chewable, all-natural medication. I found one, and it worked - no more fleas. When he began giving it, fleas came to the surface of his fur...jumping ship, in other words. He bathed him, because he didn't want the now-homeless fleas to jump on anyone else, and hasn't seen another. They make it for cats, too, I believe. So, there are options. Let me go and check on the name for you... Okay, I was wrong. It doesn't appear that the same company makes one for cats, though there are similar ones for cats. This one is made in U.S.A., Contains no corn, soy, wheat, GMO's, or sugar. Etc. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BV81JL8D?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 Maybe you can search for something similar for cats? But, even without medication, baths, etc. you can sprinkle something on the floor, then vacuum. Will she let you comb her? You can get a flea comb, if so. I hope that this helps a little. Good luck, I am not a fan of any blood suckers! |
